    1. Ever since a scientific research vessel, drilled into an ancient impact crater under the North Sea, the earth has been rocked by unexplained earthquakes electromagnetic pulses When a mysterious woman approaches 3 teenagers tells them that she needs their help to save the world, they think she s crazy But Kevin sees her change from an old woman to a beautiful young woman back again, Lizbeth sees her change from a black woman, to a white woman finally into a white jaguar, while for Zach the snack [...]

    2. A little wordy, but overall a great addition to the Gossamer series I liked the YA viewpoint in Anyone perhaps a little Guess I m just a kid at heart Still the adult but still with YA range book gives us a lot information on the Gossamer mythology of shapeshifters We re taken on an often dangerous ride to England and into the North Sea, with stops along the way to fight evil shapeshifters, and for the young companions of the ancient, yet strikingly beautiful, Caitlin, the protector of the Gos [...]

    3. WOW This was a great YA sci fi fantasy a little romance apopolypticad Melissa took the current events of today earthquakes, etc and made three teens and a shapeshifter the focus of finding not only the reason behind these things but maybe even stopping the potential end of the world I enjoyed reading about other paranormal ideas other than the routine witches or vamps and learning about other countries Labeled a YA could actually be approriate for 12 on upexcept for one scene of the two teens sl [...]

    4. Very interesting book Crazy weird plot but it was well constructed so even though it seemed far fetched, it made sense to me I am definitely interested in reading the next book It reminded me a little of the Wrinkle in Time books which I love, so maybe that is why I liked this one The characters are pretty interesting and their relationships are believable I am especially grateful to read a YA book where the main characters don t fall in love in less than a week The characters and their actions [...]

    5. This is a BIG book I didn t realize how big when I started it I quickly became resentful of interruptions Doomsday, end of world stuff The paranormal element is what hooked me, but the intrigue and action kept me riveted As soon as I m finished posting this, II m going to look for books by Melissa Conway

    6. Millions of years ago, a projectile hit Earth often happened However, this particular projectile was sent here from another planet It s material interlaced around Earth and through years of evolution, created shapeshifters of some humans The material was sent to create a communication satellite for the originating galaxy Now that material is causing an Armageddon of sorts Kevin, Zach, and Lizbeth all in their late teens have been approached by Caitlin and informed of their roots as shapeshifters [...]

    7. Very enjoyable young adult fantasy novel Young Kevin working as a summer intern on a drilling vessel is present when they hot something that starts disasters all around the world Enter Caitlan, a mysterious young woman who says she knows whats going on After she locates 17 year old Lizbeth and 18 year old Zach, they start on a quest to save the planet Can t wait to read the rest of the series Decent read and an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in the sun.

    8. I know there was a plot in here somewhere, but it somehow got buried under the pages It s disappointing really, because Conway s other series delivered in a manner where this book fell short The plot had a lot of potential, but failed to ever pull me in and the characters seemed under developed I stuck it out hoping for an upswing, but it never arrived I will not be continuing with this series.

    9. I really give it 4 1 2 stars It was an excellent concept and story, and I love Melissa Conway as a writer but I didn t give it 5 stars because I got confused in a couple of places, which took me out of the story Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the sequels
